This happened this morning figured I’d talk about it. Stopping for gas, the attendant sets pump so as I daze off into imagination land for a minute waiting for gas to top off I hear a noise. Thud! and some clicks I look around I see a squeegee running across my back window and hitting my spoiler supports….stop stop STOP! Its okay thank you anyway. It should be noted that the car was just washed the night prior and really wasn’t visibly dirty minus some brine solution dust

⚠️ Unless absolutely necessary DON’T ever use these things at a gas station unless your vision is seriously impaired through a window and you have no other alternative to clean windows. ⚠️

The washer fluid/cleaning solution is never changed in these buckets. You don’t know where the sponge has touched namely the ground or some fine dirt or mud which will get stuck in sponge section. The squeegee could drag a piece of foreign debris across glass and scratch. When I purchased my other vehicle I was gonna immediately wax and treat paint surfaces myself. The lot salesman offered to clean it up cause had some dust from sitting I declined. He insisted so I said okay. It wasn’t until later I noticed a scratch in glass from a water blade used to dry car ????. Some courtesy services offered mean well but may not always be beneficial to the care of your vehicle.
